Job Summary
The Repair Cycle Monitor process part orders, monitors status of requisitions and provides information to maintenance.
Principal Accountabilities

  • Process parts and supply orders.
  • Update, monitor and resolve difficulties with repair cycle assets.
  • Schedule parts through the repair cycle
  • Complete documentation and MIS (Maintenance Information System) inputs as required.
  • Maintain bench stock bins.
  • Prepare AFTO Form 350 and serviceability tags.
  • Process component removal and installation tasks for back shops
  • Review accuracy and update D23 daily and process DIFM updates as required.
  • Store, monitor and control AWP/bit and pieces assets IAW applicable directives.
  • Monitor and correct input data to MIS and recommend changes.
  • Generate job control numbers to support equipment (non-AGE equipment).
  • Receive and in-check material to ensure accuracy of material ordered and warehoused.
  • Ensure AFTO 244 is annotated with job numbers and order numbers IAW applicable directives.
  • Comply with all applicable contractual programs and regulations; i.e., tools, safety, HAZMAT, support equipment, housekeeping, and FOD prevention programs.
  • Deliver parts as required within the repair cycle.
  • Must ensure all applicable PPE is worn as required.
  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of the procedures specified by IAW AFMAN 23-110, Volume 2, and AFI 21-101 for the control and scheduling of material/equipment is required.
  • A working knowledge of off-equipment repair cycle processing requirements and documentation procedures is required.
  • A working knowledge of T.O. 00-20-2, Maintenance Data Documentation and 00-20-3, Aerospace Equipment Maintenance Inspection, Documentation, Policy and Procedures is required.  
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand American English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Must be able to maintain required Security Clearance.

Experience & Education

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Six months of supply or maintenance material control experience and one (1) year of IMDS/MIS scheduling experience is required.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Night work may be required
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
