Description

  • Place of performance is San Diego, with occasional travel to Fleet Concentration Areas. Work is in support of war games and other fleet training to prepare strike groups for deployment.
  • The Electronic Warfare/Information Operations (IO) Warfare Training Expert will:
    • Support development and facilitate execution of advanced military war games and other curricula as part of fleet training requirements for Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Group Commanders and staffs, and subordinate Warfare Commanders, staffs, and units.
    • Provide SME support to TTGP in latest USN doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, & all related systems for Electronic Warfare and Information Operations Warfare (EW/IO).
    • Liaise with Navy centers of excellence on latest tactics, techniques and procedures for EW/IO, to include theater IO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Secret clearance, TS/SCI eligible.
  • Expertise in planning, implementation and execution of U.S. Navy EW/IO concepts and tactics, direction and employment of units at a strike group level
  • Thorough understanding of EW/IO coordination requirements between warfare commanders and higher headquarters.
  • Experience developing training scenarios, curricula, and presentations for EW/IO training.
  • Minimum of ten years of Navy service to include strike group staff experience in addition to individual unit/platform tours.

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Experience with Fleet Synthetic Training events.
  • Experience with synthetic training systems and software, to include simulators, Battle Force Team Trainer (BFTT), BFTT Electronic Warfare Trainer (BEWT) and Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) software.
  • Desirable candidates would be an EA-6B Prowler or EA-18G Growler flight officer or pilot, designated Information Warfare qualified officer, or an experienced EW/IO LPO or NCO.
