Description:Responsible for providing operational technical support for the F35 United States Reprogramming Lab (USRL), Norway Italy Reprogramming Lab (NIRL) and Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Lab (ACURL) located at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
This individual will serve as a maintenance controller creating work orders and entering operational data into ALIS supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, configuration management and support of systems test/simulation host computers, display systems, cockpit hardware, electronic interfaces and mechanical assemblies.
This position will focus on ALIS work orders and support and maintenance activities within the F-35 USRL, ACURL and NIRL and may require periodically adjusting work schedule to meet customer needs. Typical tasks would include, ALIS Work Order creation, documenting troubleshooting activities and upgrades, system integration/checkout/test; modifications; troubleshooting; network connectivity support; system/facility security documentation; processing ingress or egress of equipment; performing clearing procedures; managing warehouse and spares inventory; Tracking Action Requests and manage, participate in, or run tests. Individual will work with other engineers, customers, and vendors as a team to efficiently support system integration, scheduled events, maintain equipment, support configuration management, and comply with applicable security policies and procedures.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a Secret security clearance to start, with current background investigation within the last 6 years.
2+ years of experience in operating and maintaining electronic equipment.
Asset Management/Inventory Control Experience.
Security Processing Experience.
ALIS User Experience.
Direct experience supporting or knowledge of development laboratories and real-time simulation environments is highly desired.
Experience with aircraft hardware, electronic interfaces, projection/display systems, audio systems, and/or mechanical assemblies.
Experienced in lab operations.
Experience working at a government customer or military facility.
Strong oral written communication skills.
