Description:Provides leadership/guidance to a team of Program Planners. Responsible for working with functional management on staffing requirements and selection, training, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Develops, statuses, and analyzes Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner. Communicates schedule impacts and proposes corrective actions to Program Management and applicable stakeholders. Develops recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the program requirements and LM MFC financial plans. Use of critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution is required. Performs independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning. Develops/maintains EVMS and metrics ensuring cost/schedule integration and provides monthly EV status and analysis. Supports proposal activities as required. Position requires coordination with program management, Program Planners, BMIT, customers, IPT leads, functional leads, and CAMs.
Basic Qualifications:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Project Scheduling Tool.
Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule development and integration expertise.
Supervisory/Management experience.
Earned Value Management expertise.
Demonstrated understanding of the IPMR DID.
Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors.
Desired Skills:
Experience leading planners on an EV program.
EV Surveillance experience.
Experience interfacing with the DCMA.
IPMR experience.
Experience with the capture/proposal management process – development and management of capture/proposal schedules.
Experience in team coordination in an Integrated Product Team environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent team player.
