Description:Mechanical design for Hardware Simulation Lab environments including mechanical design, 3D modeling, 2D drawings, parts lists, configuration management, procurement, vendor coordination, fabrication liaison, checkout, troubleshooting, and integration. Includes participation in project requirements and customer product/design reviews. Perform stress and thermodynamic analysis as required.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance to start.
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of design, assembly, and checkout.
Experience with interpretation/development of Engineering Drawings and Parts Lists.
CATIA V5 or SolidWorks Computer Aided Engineering Design experience/education.
Experience with Configuration Management Tools.
MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, Experience in Electronics equipment development and troubleshooting.
CATIA V4/V5 Experience
Database Applications Knowledge.
Experience utilizing Product Data Manager (PDM) or CADATANET tools for configuration management of technical data packages.
