We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

The Cloud Engineer position is responsible for developing Cloud-native solutions and services, as well as providing support for Cloud migration, operations and maintenance. Activities include developing cloud billing through metering APIs, consumption and quota management, automated system provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud identity and access management integration, security, availability and performance monitoring, capacity management, configuration and change management, patching, vulnerability management and security compliance, etc. The candidate for this position must be well versed in the following areas: Cloud service administration using native tools, including portal, command line and REST APIs, cloud migration, cloud database, cloud storage, cloud networking, Active Directory, and security controls related to cloud IT.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Support the full lifecycle of cloud applications and cloud services management, from business program needs analysis and environment assessment, through design, test, migration, and operation.
• Support cloud solution development, testing, and piloting. Support deployment projects and provide technical expertise in resolving technical problems and end-user training.
• Support technical problem troubleshooting. Perform root cause analysis.
• Perform applications and services demonstrations to variety of stakeholders
• Continually research, evaluate, and apply emerging technologies

Requirements

Required Skills:

•  Bachelor's degree and 10 years overall experience
• 4+ years of relevant work experience with Cloud administration and automation
• At least one Azure Certification (Administrator, Developer or Architect)
• Hands on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and scripting tools, including PowerShell, Azure CLI, JavaScript, Shell scripts, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with Azure Networks, including Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups Traffic Manager, Network Monitor, Load Balancers and User Defined Routing
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Managed Service Identity, Azure Security Token Service
• Experience provisioning user accounts and role-based policies for access to Azure services, Azure Identity Management services, WS-federation, OAuth, and SAML-P
• Experience with Azure Security Center, Log Analytics and Azure Automation Solutions
• Experience operating and managing Azure cloud environments including Web Apps, VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Tables, Azure SQL and/or CosmosDB
• Experience with enterprise messaging systems preferably Microsoft Service Bus, Message Queue
• Experience of design and implementation of IaaS and PaaS solutions executed and repeated in DevSecOps solution framework and with DevSecOps tools.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems
• Understanding of RESTful Http services

Desired Qualifications: 
• Experience with Ansible, (or Puppet, Chef, Salt), Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), and other Data & AI related technologies.
• Experience developing API and business logic components with Node.js, asynchronous programming, Node.js event model and promises
• Experience developing apps that use WS-federation, OAuth, and SAML-P endpoints
• Experience with Unit Testing and mocking frameworks

• At least one Azure Certification
• AWS Certification is a plus
