Description:Capable of analyzing sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant production facilities, administrative processes, facility and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing mistake proofing techniques.. Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, engineering time studies,and process cycle times. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for process and facility modifications and revisions to operating procedures. May assist facilities engineers in the planning, design, modification and layout of facilities and equipment. Responsible for successfully attaining Lockheed Martin Green Belt Certification within 18 months from date of hire. Possess future ability to lead multi-disciplined teams toward continuous improvement goals and objectives. Favorable knowledge of basic Lean Six Sigma principles and the impact to manufacturing environments. Possess good communication and presentation skills.

The Locale: Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Little Rock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience/combined education with 5 years experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coordinate and work with employees from multiple functional areas and across all levels (exempt and non exempt).
Production and/or program management experience.
The ability to work OT and travel occasionally.
Ability to obtain security clearance as well as an interim secret clearance.
Technical Engineering degree.
LM LSS Green or Black Belt certification.
Familiarity with SAP
