The Electrical Susbsystems Directorate (ESD) Product Technology Center (PTC) is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong PCB layout skills to join our team as an ECAD designer.

Responsible for printed circuit board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing including library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, gerber / ODB++ file creation and all documentation using the Mentor Graphics toolset. Designs include PCBs as well as flex assemblies and rigid-flex assemblies. Responsible for interfacing with electrical, mechanical and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured and accomplished. Job responsibilities will include providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. An understanding and wide application of technical theories and concepts in the field of PCB design and manufacturing is required.
Please Note: This position can be an Electrical Engineer II or Sr. Electrical Engineer II based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or other relevant disciplines.
