GDIT is hiring a Netcool SME. This position will deploy, configure, tests, and manage COTS products and customize tools to ensure applications meet documented Operations and Engineering program requirements. Other responsibilities include:
Administer various EMS applications that supports Engineering, Operations, and Security departments.
Assist with the development of system architectures and project plans.
Provide application maintenance patching, pilot testing, software upgrades, and deployment support of new software baselines for the Production environment.
Serve as a liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participate in special projects as required.
Active Top Secret clearance at the time of hire (with eligible for SCI Security Clearance
10-15 years of experience in application engineering, administration, and analysis
Competent to work at a technical level on all phases of application administration activities.
Excellent communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through.
Must be a consummate professional in both demeanor and attire.
Excellent attention to detail.
Develops and maintain documentation such as SOPs on existing and new applications.
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with:
RSA SecurID or
Cisco and Juniper devices
Cisco ACS or Cisco ISE
Riverbed Performance tools
InfoVista Performance tools
BMC tools (such as BBNA, BBSA, ADDM)
Red Hat Linux, Solaris, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 operating systems
IBM Tivoli Netcool Monitoring tool (to include strong knowledge of SNMP)
Single Sign On (SSO) Portal tool integration and administration
Business Objects/Crystal Reports
