Level of experience/Education:
• United States citizen and an active secret clearance
• United States Navy experience
• Possess knowledge of the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class
• Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and at least 4 years of related experience, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of related experience

Senior Systems Engineer position supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program in Mobile, Alabama. Specifically the position involves performance of the following tasks:
• Conduct technical evaluations in support of requirements development related to system testing
• Coordinate technical assistance to ship's force with questions or problems related to computer program operation, media replacement, and functionality
• Support shipboard testing and provide technical support for sea trial preparations and in-port and at-sea sea trial events
• Generate Computer Program Change Requests (CPCRs) to document issues identified with CPs
• Interface with program representatives from OPNAV, NAVSEA, Fleet Commands, ISEAs, NSWCPHD, Prime Contractors, etc.
• Attend various review and status meetings
• Develop/present briefs and program status presentations as required by the customer
• Coordinate with the Fleet to schedule computer program installations
• Travel is required in the continental United States
