Are you interested in joining a dynamic, inclusive, and growing high tech team? Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems is looking for a Senior Manager within the Advanced Technology organization in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

The mission of Advanced Technology is to develop and mature key technical discriminators through Contract Research and Development (CRAD) with our Science and Technology (S&T) customers. Through teamwork and collaboration across Raytheon, we develop the next generation of advanced capabilities for the warfighter and civil authority customers.

The successful candidate will hold management responsibility for all phases of technical, financial, and schedule performance on assigned programs or capture efforts.The successful candidate will manage projects, customers and personnel that deliver capabilities across multiple domains, which includes undersea, on the sea surface, on land, in air, space and cyber.Raytheon is a world leader in the development of naval radars, multi-function RF systems, Command & Control systems, ship combat systems, advanced materials, sensors and cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

·Act as primary customer contact to ensure that contract commitments are fulfilled

·Establish milestones and monitor adherence to program/capture master plans and schedules

·Develop control systems and reports to assess progress

·Direct the performance of program/capture cross-business teams in engineering,

manufacturing, finance and contracts

·Identify potential problems and implement corrective actions

·Anticipate customer needs to ensure satisfaction and continued business

·Ensure technical objectives of assigned programs are achieved

·Identify new business opportunities

·Support the development of Annual Operating, Strategic, and 5 Year Business Plans as

In addition to these program/capture responsibilities, the candidate will also be called

upon to prepare and present presentations to Customers / internal management, lead and / or coordinate the development of proposals, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs, support negotiations and oversee contract administration activities.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Qualifications:

·U.S. Citizenship is required

·Active/Current Secret US Security Clearance

·Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or Business related disciplines

·12+ years relevant industry experience

·Engineering team and program management experience

·Capture management experience in Defense or Aerospace related industries

Desired Qualifications:

·MS Degree in Engineering or Business related disciplines

·Active/Current Top Secret US Security Clearance

·Experience in a multi-discipline environment working in Contract Research & Development, specifically in new business capture, proposal development, technology evaluation, program management, and technical contribution

·Cost Account Management (CAM) experience

·Experience with project management tools including Earned-Value Management

Systems

·Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

·Experience with business tools including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

·Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task to achieve good results across multiple priorities

·Ability to work in a team environment and effectively direct, influence, motivate and supervise team members

·Experience in obtaining Intellectual Property on emerging technologies

·Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS)

·Experience leading Internal Research & Development projects

·Knowledge of IPDS
