Reporting to the Electrical Metal Trades and Transport Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for preventative maintenance, overhaul, repair, modification, installation, operation and testing of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment and system within the Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of utilities equipment
Fabricate and install equipment in support of projects
Ensure on a regular basis that all work orders are completed and entered correctly into our in-house database
Follow the Lock Out Tag Out process
Provide incident and event reports to management on a regular basis
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Ability diagnose faults in a power generation facility and report accurately
Electrical trade qualification ( Electrical Fitter Mechanic, Certificate III in Electro technology)
Energy Safety WA Electrician’s Licence
A minimum of 2+ years Power Plant experience (or similar industrial work environment experience)
Minimum 6 years’ experience as an electrician in a commercial / industrial environment.
