Raytheon is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in spacecraft integration and testing, for a full-time position at our Pasadena facility. The selected candidate will support spacecraft testing of various projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning an performing electrical integration and test of complex spacecraft
  • Developing integration and test procedures for flight hardware derived from system test plans and requirements
  • Generating system test scripts in python for spacecraft automated testing
  • Designing electrical ground support equipment to support spacecraft integration and testing
  • Performing Safe To Mate procedures on flight hardware
  • Supporting spacecraft environmental testing (EMC/EMI, Dynamics, TVAC)

Security Clearance:
The position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI


Education / Work Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience


Required Skills:
  • Prior career experience writing procedures & performing spacecraft electrical integration and test
  • Familiar with using standard test equipment (Scopes, DMM, Current Probes, Electronic Loads, etc)
  • Prior experience using Python with test scripts
  • Prior experience using Labview
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering circuit design principles, grounding, and EMI/EMC
  • Experience in fast-paced, small-team test environment with spacecraft flight hardware
