Job Description:

The individual will be responsible for monitoring, preparation and support of cost proposals for IDS Operations. In this capacity, the individual will work closely with various Integrated Business Teams’ (IBT) Program Management Offices, Manufacturing Work Centers and IDS Cross Business Teams to strategize and ensure that the proper scope and pricing ground rules are established and adhered to. The individual will prepare costing data for both labor and material inputs from Operations and Integrated Supply Chain for various proposals of different magnitude, and in doing so, will research and analyze historical data and ensure that current actual data is used in preparation of proposals and are supportable during negotiations. The individual’s responsibility will also include the preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for Cost Volume submittals and the preparation of Operations Management Review packages which meet IDS guidelines and are in line with Raytheon IPDS (Gate 4 compliant). The individual may participate in cost and pricing reviews with Operations Leadership, audits with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) / Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and negotiations with the Customer, as required. This individual will report through the GBS Estimating & Pricing Organization mainly supporting IDS programs.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of or experience in preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for Cost Volume submittals
  • Basic knowledge of government regulations related to the development and negotiation of cost proposals (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements
Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Experience working with common estimating and pricing tools such as ProPricer or ACES
Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree with major in Finance, Accounting and/or business administration or related field and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
