Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in technical planning and scheduling management? We are is seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in joining the Program Planning & Scheduling Department in a highly visible and impactful position as Principle Program Planner driving giver/receiver agreements amongst multiple IDS programs and organizations. The ideal candidate will manage the Giver/Receiver (G/R) interfaces, agreements and associated data for programs, inclusive of interdependencies related to IRAD all Independent Research and Development (IRAD) programs. The candidate will partner with IRAD Principle Investigators (PI), program stakeholders and planners to ensure G/R’s are accurately defined, agreed to, maintained, and tracked to completion. This candidate will lead IRAD G/R workshops, facilitate communications between stakeholders and agreement on completion criteria, track progress towards baselining of G/Rs, capture lessons learned and brief results to program managers and teams, planning leadership and senior leaders as required.

Responsibilities will include consulting, interfacing, and training for PIs and program stakeholders on the Giver/Receiver process and database tool.

This position will be located in Tewksbury, MA.


Required Skills:
  • Minimum of Six (6) years of Program Planning & Scheduling experience
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project experience, including Microsoft Project Server
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite products

Desired Skills:
  • Eight (8) plus years of professional experience in Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Familiarity with any of the following: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX) SAP/R3, Microframe Project Manager (MPM) or similar EVMS tools and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra and Deltek MPM Connect
  • Raytheon Six Sigma (R6S) Specialist or similar certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
  • Demonstrated experience with Cost Estimating/BOE Generation
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Required Education:

BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field of study
