Under close supervision assist with the maintenance and daily operations of the Wireline Services. This is an entry-level position for Wireline and will train with a Competent Wireline Operator. Initial training will primarily be hands on which will occur at the field location and on well site focusing on the core operator's competencies. Then the focus will be formal Engineering training in a classroom and out on the field under the supervision of a Competent Wireline Engineer. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards. Utilizes competency Processes to enhance job performance. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the Competency requirements.
Learn major components of equipment.
Assist operators with maintenance.
Learn all SOP's, theory, and policies that govern WL Operations.
Learn Explosive and DOT Compliance fundamentals.
Learn Warrior Operating Software.
Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
Utilizes competency Processes to enhance job performance.
Learn well site safety
Learn proper operating procedures for equipment
Assist operators with daily duties
Learn basics of Pressure Control Operations
Assist Engineer in daily WL operations
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office applications, Excel, MS Word, etc.
Ability to perform Wireline Operations daily duties.
Knowledge of Explosive, DOT, Warrior Software, SOP, Pressure Control.
Have written and oral communication skills.
Be able to work at heights exceeding 10 feet above ground level.
Able to operate cranes, forklifts and man-lifts as needed.
Able to follow verbal and written directions.
Work as part of a team.
Able to lift and carry heavy objects.
Able to tolerate working in outdoor conditions.

Knowledge of company policies, QHSE standards and PSL Work Instructions
A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical properties

Required Experience and Education
Bachelor's Degree required
Valid Driver's License required
Ability to obtain a class A CDL required
No experience required
Required Travel: 50% - 75%
