Description

SAIC is seeking a highly talented Signal Processing Engineer to support a high profile program. The applicant will apply digital signal processing (DSP) techniques to the forensic analysis of multimedia. In addition the applicant will be expected to provide innovative solutions to challenging signals analysis and processing problems.


Qualifications

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • 5+ years experience
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics with a minimum of three years of algorithm development experience
  • Demonstrated experience in signal processing and algorithm design
  • Demonstrated experience in developing new capabilities, strategies, and processes that improve data extraction
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and testing signal processing software in languages such as MATLAB, R, C/C+ +, Java, or Python to preprocess, analyze, and integrate signals from multiple modalities 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and adapting innovative multimedia signal processing techniques described in scientific literature, and reporting analytic results in the form of technical papers, products, and presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating technical findings to audiences of varying expertise, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated experience in the forensic analysis of multimedia
  • Demonstrated experience with noise reduction and signal optimization and extraction techniques
