SAIC is looking for a Systems Engineer (SE) with a TS/SCI clearance who seeks a challenge, ready to learn new systems and seeking a position to use their skills and experience supporting various programs of record and projects. This is a junior level SE position within the Program Executive Office; Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). The following are some of the tasks, experiences, and responsibilities an excellent candidate would take on in a dynamic and professional work environment.
Provide your knowledge, capabilities, and systems engineering expertise to assist in systems development and integration.
Apply systems engineering support for various Naval systems and capabilities that includes a basic understanding of one or more of the following systems and operations:
Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems
Information Operations (IO)
Radar, Communication, and Electronic systems
Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems
Research new concepts, procedures, and emerging technology
Assist in integrating systems and defining performance criteria
Analyze Navy/DoD requirements and determine appropriate support, strategies, and requirements
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM and two (2) years or more of related experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more of related experience; Applicable experience is accepted in lieu of advanced degree.
Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders; Government technical representatives, and contractors; excellent written and oral communications; ability to work in a team collaborative environment; ability to brief senior government personnel.
Understanding of PEO C4I & SPAWAR; experience with U.S. Navy systems, programs and ship deployment operations.
