  • Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standards
  • Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, and metadata and repository creation
  • Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions
  • Defines, designs, and builds dimensional databases. Responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems
  • Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analyses. Conducts data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused, or duplicate data
  • Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access

The position requires US citizenship or a Green Card Holder.  The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of one (or more) of the following:  SME, Java, SQL, stored procedure, JSP, JQuery, JPA, Hibernate, XML, RESTful web services, JSTL, JavaScript, Ajax, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, HTML5, Build Gradle, Maven,
  • Web application development framework knowledge: Struts, Spring framework, Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat Apache and Web Server configuration & Deployment, Eclipse, IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software, Windows, UNIX, LinuxMicroStrategy  
  • Knowledge of data structure and computing algorithms                             
  • Lead, analyze, design and implement technical requirements solutions                                                   
  • Ability to troubleshoot application & environment related problems
  • Ability to coordinate application configuration, deployment and testing activities
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology and the SCRUM process
