Job Summary:
Conagra has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team located in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for financial review, analysis and consolidation of actual results, projections, annual budgets, and strategic plans for the global business. The team supports the presentation of results for the Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors and is heavily involved in monthly business reviews to discuss the P&L, cash flow, working capital and operating expenses. The job also includes preparation of earnings release material and supports Enterprise initiatives such as portfolio alignment, restatements, mergers and acquisitions, and competitive analytics. Job requires 5+ years of financial work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Position Responsibilities:
Financial review, analysis and consolidation of actuals and projections. Provide concise and insightful commentary to senior leadership, including the CFO.
Develop Cash flow and Balance Sheet forecasts by collaborating with Supply Chain, Corporate Controller’s Group, Treasury, Tax and various other finance functions.
Consolidate total company Profit & Loss statements, providing key insight to management on business performance & trends.
Maintain the shared service SG&A allocation models. Prepare monthly journal entries and quarterly true-ups.
Prepare the reconciliation of comparability items by working with the internal accounting groups.
Administer SAP-BPC system including managing forecasts & plan, running packages and syncing entity and account hierarchies.
Manage the overall planning, coordination, development, consolidation and reporting of Annual Operating Plan.
Complete ad-hoc projects including competitive analytics and reporting and analytics simplification.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with strong relevant experience
5+ years in finance or related corporate accounting functions
MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with executive-level presence
Team player with positive attitude
Experience developing business presentations and related supporting documents.
Exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, including advance functions.
Highest standards of accuracy with strong attention to detail; highly organized
