Description:MFC is seeking a Quality Engineering functional manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. The Quality professional will be responsible Quality business processes, data analytics, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Quality Engineering (software and hardware) and as an Adviser for the Quality team.

This position requires that the selected candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into MFC. Duties include:

Driving strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development

Developing and implementing processes to optimize practices in driving out risks

Developing and implementing an MFC Enterprise strategy which integrates cross- functional teams in the execution of processes and needed technical solutions including Quality operations, systems and software quality, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Engineering Degree

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Experience applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

Exceptional presentation skills, developing messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in diverse teams implementing and executing new solutions

Experience in Product Development (Requirements Analysis, Product Integration and Verification & Validation)

Experience evaluating design for manufacturing and assembly

Extensive experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of software products and in Software and Test Equipment Quality Management processes

Highly experienced in performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices

Proficient in data analysis as applied to quality system and manufacturing process performance

Experience in Quality Management System requirements and governmental regulatory standards

Ability to work strategic plans and tactical plans and negotiate optimized approaches across multi-disciplines within the Quality organization and the enterprise

Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, customers and all other stakeholders

Must be highly experienced as a team lead and facilitator/ influencer

Must have the ability to travel
Desired Skills:
Subject Matter Expert in the area of Software Quality Engineering and an adviser for the Quality team

Experience applying Agile Software methodology

Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)

Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material

Experience with Missiles and Fire Control policies and procedures

Experience applying Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)

Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as International (ISO), Aerospace (AS), Automotive and/or FAA regulation

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

Experience with Government customers
