Description:In this position, the subcontract manager will support IWTA contracts between Aeronautics and RMS for the F35 Program. Duties include negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface other Lockheed Martin divisions. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Confers with vendors and analyzes vendors' operation to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, analyzes trends, follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. Engages with internal customer to develop procurement solutions. Candidate will assist the mentoring and coaching of other subcontract administrators. May require infrequent travel.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree required
-Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, or Outlook)
-Experience in subcontract management, supply chain, procurement, or logistics
-Negotiation experience
