The CCR Engineer III (Engineer III) is a subject matter expert who engages in all aspects of CCR program and provides expert guidance on CCR issue. The Engineer III support the U.S. Department of State’s CCR requirements in multiple overseas locations including high threat posts. Duties include TDY deployment to these locations. The Engineer reports to the CCR Program Lead and supports assigned CCR engineering project. The Engineer develops CCR integration solutions and their supporting bills of materials. The Engineer works closely with engineers from the ECM and VPIM programs to ensure integration and optimum performance of all systems on the platform. The Engineer ensures that solutions selected are supported by the facility or vehicle platform employ without degrading performance of associated ECM, MVS, and PTL systems. The Engineer develops CCR related test plans to support the integrated testing of platforms integrating ECM, CCR, MVS and PTL solutions ensuring optimum performance within the designated threat environments. The Engineer must demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of specialization necessary to complete moderately complex projects. The Engineer must be able to manage junior engineers and other technicians assigned to him for project completion.
