Description

SAIC is seeking an Administrative Research Assistant to support the research program of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, OTAT office.  SAIC supports the FDA and their scientists in Scientific Computing which includes but is not limited to; technical and research aspects (e.g., hardware, software, desktop support, infrastructure, virtualization all in a laboratory environment) supporting a variety of FDA Centers. This position will support the Office of Tissue and Advanced Therapies, Division of Regulatory Project Management to assist this Division achieving its scientific and programmatic objectives.

 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 
  • Develop review regulatory files that have proprietary information
  • Scientific collaborations and logistical planning and preparation for stakeholder meetings. 
  • Consolidate memos and meeting data information
  • Assist in all administrative areas and the administrative needs of the DRPM and other areas within OTAT. 
  • Maintain regulatory review memorandums into CBER’s Regulatory Information Management System (RIMS) and other appropriate databases
  • Assist OTAT’s Quality Assurance program with database entries
  • Data clean up based on monthly Quality Control reports received from CBER RIMS team

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Preferably in the areas of; logistical planning and/or scientific support.
  • The contractor must be able to work independently, in fast paced environment while being able to execute and follow through to completion of duties assigned.
  • Having a Bachelors or Associates degree in a relevant field is preferred.   
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and be quick learners on varied computer software 
  • Must be able to work in an office and professional setting.
  • Must have prior experience working in some type of Administrative or Office Support role.
