Description:This is for a first shift position within the Manufacturing Planner/Production Control operations center. Responsibilities will include scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies. Status and reporting of manufacturing build to Operations Excellence Team members and leadership. Effective management of kit issues, engagement in flow implementation, fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing builds. Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes. Prioritization of work flow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and project managers.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases and programs. Very good organization and communication skills.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing and ability to work in team environment.
Able to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a clearance requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering or business.
Excellent communication, team building and analytical skills.
Ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry and peers at site and across the one RMS factory. Inventory control and material handling knowledge desired. Green belt or black belt trained/certified.
