Description:Provide oversight to a team consisting of salary and contractors operating within the Aerostructure Product Center, ensuring aircraft completion according to blueprint requirements, and meeting customer schedule. Must be able to work in a union environment and ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal and external customers as well as employees. This position reviews and approves the majority of new work instructions required to keep operations flowing seamlessly. Work with Aerostructures manufacturing team to solve concerns as they arise during manufacturing operations. Answering highly technical SA1230’s, writing rework operation sheets and consulting technical manuals for guidance as required. Take leadership role for all cost initiatives within the center as well as reducing SRR/AR.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
