Our company delivers IT enterprise solutions, manages large-scale, mission-critical IT programs and provides mission support services.

 

We have an immediate need for an Systems Engineer to assist in implementing new features and services through assessing and testing new techniques and support processes.  Of particular importance is the ability of the resources to understand and operate within an Active Directory environment.  

 

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for: 

  • Maintain infrastructure with latest updates and patching
  • Deployments to distributed systems
  • Research, design, and recommend solutions to meet requirements
  • Develop and test automated scripts and processes for software deployment and data gathering
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues quickly
  • Develop and document processes and procedures

We can only accept Green Card Holders or US Citizens for this program. 

Qualifications:

  • This position requires specialized knowledge an in-depth understanding of the underlying hardware and software architectures, the ability to independently and quickly recognize, diagnose and resolve complex problems, and ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies
  • Must be able to write code in Windows PowerShell 5.0 and batch
  • Strong scripting and packaging experience for administration, automation of processes, and issue resolution
  • Experience performing remote deployments and integration of Windows 10 systems in a distributed environment
  • Must have strong knowledge of Windows OS’s
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft’s Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Working knowledge of SCCM  (desirable)
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and secure protocols
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop clear and concise documentation
  • Five years of relevant and progressive experience in a distributed computing environment is preferred.

Education:

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education or experience in computer or telecommunications architectures, systems analysis, and management of information technology may be substituted.
