The Joint Effects Model (JEM) program is seeking a Computer Science, Mathematics or Physical Sciences (e.g. Meteorology, Oceanography, etc.), Mathematics Intern to join their team in Middletown, RI.

This Internship opportunity will participate in all aspects of the AGILE software development lifecycle using the SCRUM methodology. The candidate will, under direct supervision, assist in the prototyping, development and testing of the JEM software.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; background check required to start
  • Enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Chemical/Nuclear Engineering, Network Engineering, Physical Sciences (Meteorology or Oceanography), Mathematics or Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree
  • 2-3 years of completed college coursework focused on business administration or similar discipline
  • Local to Rhode Island or ability to move yourself to the area
  • Performs technical duties in support of a department or customer. Works on a short-term, seasonal basis.
