Description:Researches, plans, designs, develops and tests mechanical products and systems for the Integrated Fighter Group Fluid, Mechanical and Armament Systems, supporting aircraft fuel, hydraulic, armament, landing gear, propulsion, environmental control, crew escape, life support and mechanical power systems. Participates in issue resolution; develops solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely closure. Develop, review and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, and technical analyses necessary to support development and manufacturing activities.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or related technical field.
Desired Skills:
Candidate should have an understanding and ability to apply basic Mechanical Engineering principles, theories and concepts. Solid math and science background. Aircraft/aerospace related education/exposure. Knowledge of Mechanical Design principles including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T); fluency in mechanical modeling tools, such as Solidworks, CATIA V5 or similar tools. Fundamental understanding of structures and materials.
