Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Water Resource Engineer II for immediate employment in Dallas, TX or Fort Worth, Texas Ofiice to support our Water Resource practice, primarily in the DFW Metro area but also nationwide.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using various software program

  • Analysis and design of stormwater drainage system, bridge and culvert design, etc.

  • Write technical report and technical memorandum

  • Field work for site reconnaissance

  • Provide assistance with Project Management

  • Mentoring and training junior level staff

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Face to face interaction with clients

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in civil or water resources engineering.

  • 2+ year of relevant water resource related experience

  • 2+ years experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling concept and principles;

  • 2+ years experience with hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS)

  • Demonstrated proficiency in ArcGIS and CADD

  • Strong analytical and computation skill

  • Knowledge of civil engineering design principles

Preferred Qualifications

Master Degree is preferred

Professional Engineer in Texas (or ability to obtain PE license within 6 months of hire)
