Qatar - Al Udeid, Doha
AECOM is seeking a Utilities Activity Management Processes (AMP) Manager for an anticipated position supporting a construction effort in the country of Qatar. The position will serve as a project engineer with technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical projects or phases or projects. The work location for this position is on the Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB) in Qatar.
Perform electrical design and investigative services including electric power distribution networks, power load distribution, airfield lighting, fire alarm systems, site lighting and power systems.
Ensure compliance with established standards, guides, precedents, methods, and techniques within discipline. Establish electrical and electronic engineering design criteria and provides guidance and evaluation for facility projects.
Assist in the development and recommend design approaches for new and improved products and or processes.
Conduct technical investigation involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and be capable and willing to submit and pass random fitness for duty screening particularly for drugs and alcohol.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and four plus (4) years of design experience and be capable of complete design and investigative services including electric power distribution.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2012 or later and have experience with power system analysis software.
Must have experience in controls systems design experience.
Must have experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D GIS systems.
Position requires a Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain it.
Due to nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
