Security - Special Access Program (SAP) Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements.
The Manager I, Industrial Security Specialist will support the Product Line Security Manager (PLSM) and programmatic cross-functional leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements based on the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversight, management, and implementation of contractual security requirements for assigned RMS programs, using the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, the ICD-705, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
Supervise, lead, and develop a team of program security personnel.
Ability to understand and proactively partner with key leadership personnel at all levels, in full support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure continually high compliance levels.
Provide managerial oversight of annual self-inspections, evaluate findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
Provide managerial security support during Government inspections.
Accountable for cost, budgets, schedules, safety, and human resources functions.
Prepare, coordinate, review, and submit security proposals to Program Management as required
Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years equivalent experience
A minimum of 6 years prior relevant Industrial Security experience including basic understanding of management approaches, advanced knowledge and skills with a specific technical / professional discipline is required
Active Secret security clearance with SAP caveats - possess a minimum of a current, final Secret clearance with an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment
Understanding of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and ICD 705
Willing to travel on company business
Must possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across business locations
Desired Experience, Skills, and Education
Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
Possess a minimum of a current, final TOP SECRET security clearance with an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment
At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred
Related training with Defense Security Service (DSS), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
