As a Program Integration, Coordination, and ControlEngineer with the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) you’re an integral part of the SSDS program leadership team and will assume an active program execution partnership with the SSDS Program Managers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Integrated Product Team leads to develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule
  • Monitoring and tracking program actions
  • Managing earned value and baseline control
  • Working with functional Cross Business Teams to ensure program technical execution
  • Managing the monthly reporting cadence for internal and external customers
  • Supporting the Program Office for new scope and proposals.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:
  • 10 + years’ experience with program management, project management, engineering or manufacturing
  • Proposal experience
  • Experience in managing cost, schedule, or technical performance
  • US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:
  • Strong Systems Engineering background with the ability to lead all engineering disciplines
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Contract Work Breakdown Structure
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Integrated Product Development System, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Six Sigma, Risk & Opportunity management, and Systems of Systems development
  • Experience in effectively utilizing EVMS tools
  • Experience in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules and effectively integrating scope changes.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple functions, i.e. (Finance and Control Account Managers for the monthly reporting cadence)
  • Experience in leading Estimate at Complete across multiple functions, including Whitesheet and Bluesheet Reviews for a large program
  • Experience managing staffing forecasts
  • Experience coordinating and participating in Joint Surveillance Reviews with DCMA
  • Experience leading and coordinating program level Integrated Baseline Reviews internally and with the customer
  • Experience leading and coordinating program/contract start up and Gate 5 reviews
  • Ability to work directly with customer/program office in fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of Raytheon and Government contacts
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to complete EVMS Level 2 Certification

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
