This role will support our Government Services segment, which offers life-cycle support solutions to defense, space, aviation, and other programs and missions for military and other government agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This segment's services include research and development, test and evaluation, program management and consulting, mission planning, operational and platform support, logistics and facilities, training, and security.

We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the Project Management Office, Sensors Aerial Intelligence Admin (PM SAI).

The Administrative Specialist will provide the following support and fulfill duties as assigned to the Product Director, Airborne Reconnaissance Low (PD ARL) and Deputy Product Manager, MARSS.

The Administrative Specialist will be responsible for daily management of the calendars; all aspects of meeting coordination, including the creation of meeting minutes and high level executives summaries; and planning travel within the defense travel system (DTS) tool.

As operation support for PdM MARSS, the administrative specialist will be responsible for collecting information and collating responses to taskers from the Project Management Office Sensors Aerial Intelligence.

Assist the Operations Chief with any taskers or projects as needed.

Provides administrative assistance to military, civilian, and contracts learn members within each Product Management Office, to include formatting official correspondence according to Army Regulation 25-50; interpreting policy within the Joint Travel Regulation to Civilian and military travelers; assisting with meeting coordination as needed.

Serve as one of our four reviewing officials (ROs) within the Defense Travel System (DFS) tool for all business travel requests and all requests for travel reimbursements incurred by civilian and military employees.

Produces monthly reports of travel budget data using the DTS tool.

Serves as the primary sustainer and point of contact to the program executive office for the SharePoint database tool used to track all unique contract actions in the 1-N database.

Responsible for queries from the PEO and interfaces with all program analyst within the PM who makes 1-N database entries.

Provides administrative-level management of the MIRARS daily roll-call system .

Cross-trains to provide back-fill support for the PM Operations Officer and PM Program Analyst, as necessary.

Support includes project scheduling, financial management, briefing, coordination and graphic presentation.

Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; Has in-depth knowledge of DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and program management requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma plus 10 plus years of relevant experience required.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Must be Experienced using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must possess the ability to put together briefings and compile weekly inputs for activity reports
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills required to interact with engineers and customer representatives.
