We have an opportunity for a Calibration Technician within our Strategy & Metrology group located at our Littleton, CO facility and supports the Strategic Quality Management group within Space Operations.

Your involvement on this team will include:
o Calibrating electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
o You will test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
o You will assist or develop calibration procedures.
o Setting up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
o Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.
Additional duties may include:
o Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
o Perform certifications.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
• You will need a minimum four years of documented calibration laboratory experience
• PMEL, TMDE, or GCAMS background
• Ability to perform electrical/physical metrology measurements and/or strong AC/DC and oscilloscope background and calibration skills
• Physical/Dimensional calibration experience

Desired Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent computer skills, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint
• Familiar with LabView, SureCal, and MetCal programs
