Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a QAQC Administrator to join our project team at Cold Lake, Alberta. This position is a Full Time and it will be on a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule.

Maintains adequate general and technical documents and periodical subscriptions related to projects, with the use of internal document control systems or client specific tools.

  • Reporting to the Project Manager.

  • Provides office and clerical support including preparation of correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations, receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents, receptionist duties (if any), and related duties including entering documents into shared drives and/or sharepoint sites.

  • Provides administrative assistance and clerical support and manages the office with regards to supplies/purchases to support the project team.

  • Works with AECOM vendors to answer any inquiries to support the office.

  • Works under limited supervision.

  • May take on several components of a project.

  • Provides direction for team members.

  • Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies.

  • Troubleshoots problems of medium complexity and recommends appropriate action.

  • Project size could range from low to medium complexity.

  • Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.

  • Manages the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.

  • Ensures that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Conditions of Employment for this position are:

  1.   2. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma / Certification + 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Strong organization skill and detail-oriented

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09)

  • H2S Alive Ticket

  • First Aid Ticket

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of document management system is preferred

  • Strong administrative and document controls experience is preferred

  • Previous experience in project management / quality controls / quality assurance / document controls is an asset

  • Some construction / maintenance services knowledge/background is an asset

  • Previous project experience working on outage, shutdown and/or turnaround will be preferred.
