Basic Program Overview:

ManTech is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Alexandria, VA to provide exceptional support to our Government customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

The Training Program Analyst will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to government leaders. Support includes coordinating research and development projects, end-user requirements, providing project oversight, and reviewing technical proposals. This position will be working in the area of Training Technology Development (TTD) for an organization that rapidly identifies and develops capabilities to combat terrorism for the Department of Defense and the other Government organizations. ManTech seeks an individual with a strong interest in technology, an understanding of how technology is employed in training and operational scenarios, and a self-starter with a desire to continuously learn.

General Responsibilities:

  • Engage with end-users and other stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze requirements, and extract technical requirements from stated and implied capability gaps.
  • Review proposed developmental solutions and strategies for technical feasibility.
  • Ensure successful execution and delivery of multiple research and development projects through applied project management tools and techniques.
  • Develop comprehensive statements of work, system performance specifications, and other procurement documentation for acquisition strategies.
  • Support operational planning, developmental testing, operational testing, and limited sustainment efforts.
  • Foster relationships with end-user communities and other stakeholders related to focus areas of TTD.

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • 5 years’ experience in project management.
  • Experience in one or more of the following focus areas: innovative training and educational concepts, human performance technologies, mobile learning, and/or immersive learning technologies.
  • Experience with DoD research and development contracts.
  • SETA experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Other Skills Preferred: 

  • Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
