Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for an Electronics Technician at Fort Story, VA to support the NSWC Range.
The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
Additional Range Support duties such as cleaning and repair will be required.
Able to withstand harsh environments
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Able to walk long distances
Able to bend, crouch, stoop for long periods of time
Valid State Driver's License
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Familiarity with NAVSPECWARCOM ranges and targeting systems
Commercial Drivers License
