Job Summary
AECOM is hiring an experienced and talented Architectural Designer for our New York City offices. Responsibilities will include:
Preparing designs, renderings, sketches, diagrams, schematic and working drawings to illustrate design solutions.
Developing and documenting details to communicate design intent.
Editing specifications.
Developing, adapting, or modifying design features and details under the direction of a project manager, project designer, or project architect.
Selecting and specifying finish materials and furniture.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors in Architecture or Masters in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program and 2+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Knowledge of project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principals.
Effective communication skills.
Familiarity with building materials and detailing, construction documents organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed architect a plus
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to interact with senior representatives of client organizations.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of BIM-Revit Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, V-Ray and Rhino 3D
