The Radar Electronics Department is seeking an RF Subsystem Engineer based in Maryland with responsibilities having impact, recognition, and growth in the organization. The department resides within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) center in Space and Airborne Systems (SAS). The position requires domain knowledge of RF systems, RF subsystems, Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs) and associated technologies and proven leadership skills to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams in pursuit and program execution. Raytheon AESA technologies are used for military radar, electronic warfare (EW), and communications systems. The department is responsible for the full-scope of antenna product solutions, spanning architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions. The RF Subsystems Engineer will be responsible for performing analyses, developing subsystem models including subsystem in system models, and allocating requirements for the antenna, subassemblies and components. The primary role for this individual will be technical analysis, RF system performance predictions, and antenna performance predictions. It will also include specification flowdown for key components of active electronically scanned arrays (AESA). Candidates should have experience in the design and development of state-of-the-art antenna and active electronic scanned arrays and RF subsystems for Radar, EW, communications, and/or other antenna systems across multiple platforms.
