Job Summary
This position is located at Okinawa Japan. The hourly rate for this position will be $22.36 per hour.
Purpose and Scope:
Performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Verify material/merchandise against receiving documents, identify discrepancies and obvious damages, route materials; and store, stack or palletize material in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan including but not limited to verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages; route materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks or palletizes material in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
2) Rearranges and takes inventory of stored materials, examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage. Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
3) May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical warehouse environment with no unusual hazards, frequent lifting up to 20-60 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/or organizing skills, and musts be able to work under deadlines. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle. Position may require travel.
This position has a rotating shift of 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift.
When required, you may be subject to shift changes, weekend, holiday and overtime work.
Shift work, weekends, mandatory overtime (with proper notice given) and cross-training can be required in order to meet daily/weekly workload requirements.
In accordance with the contract, all personnel performing work require United States citizenship or acceptable proof of naturalization prior to employment.
