The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) RF Systems Department has the responsibility to design, develop, and maintain engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed-loop with the weapon’s hardware and software. The work is challenging and exciting.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Job Description: As an Electrical Engineer II, you will:

  • Design and develop circuit card assemblies (CCA)
  • Design and develop cabling and interconnect for test equipment
  • Create development plans, requirements, and tests for hardware products
  • Perform integration of hardware test stations and products
  • Gain a working knowledge of the weapon system
  • Work independently as well as within a team
Required Education Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Math, Physics, or other engineering or science degree.
  • At least 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience (not including internships)
  • Basic engineering skills, familiarity with laboratory test equipment, and electronics
  • Applied work experience with CCA design and schematic capture
  • Knowledge of common hardware interface and data protocols such as RS-422, USB, PCIe, etc.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to manage personal workload with a demonstrated ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
