Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented SME PEGA Applications Developer to join us for Remote work that allows for 100% Telecommuting and working from home from anywhere in the United States!? 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for developing software with the Pega platform to support a large-scale IT system.  

  • Responsible for working on Pega development stories and tasks to completion with each sprint, as part of an Agile delivery team that uses Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). 

  • Perform Pega Systems Architect tasks.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 

  • Understands key business drivers, uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or Associate Degree or 9 or more years of equivalent experience along with PEGA is required, shall also have PEGA system architect training.  

  • Requires an experience with Pega or shall also have Pega Boot Camp and/or Fast Track training. 

  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.

  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

  • Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures.

  • May have to leads projects with notable risk and complexity, develops the strategy for project execution.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) training.

 

Security Clearance Requirements:  Must be a US citizen and an active Top-Secret clearance is required. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time. 

  • Constantly operates a computer.   

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
