Job Responsibilities

The successful applicant will exercise judgment in evaluation of problems and selecting/adapting engineering alternatives. Assignments will further develop engineering judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. The successful applicant will work closely with other project managers and other engineering staff who will assist with assignments and provide guidance in techniques and procedures to be applied.

  • Performs project management duties including proposal development, project setup and tracking, and client communications.

  • Other assignments include application of standard civil engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks related to the planning and design of civil/municipal projects including storm water systems (sewer/watercourse/best management practices), and site development applications.

  • Planning work will include TMDL water quality or quantity modeling.

  • Design work may include development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates (PS&E).

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 5+ years of related experience in municipal design and water quality modeling.

  • Storm Water focused background, with broad general technical knowledge.

  • Must have the ability to interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards - local experience preferred.
