Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team and provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and direct a work force of 20+ personnel supporting 7 task areas and technical projects
  • Interface/meeting with Government (Branch Heads and Technical Leads) for tasking and funding reviews
  • Provide estimates for tasking and travel and track actual costs
  • Provide reports and deliverables as required by the contract for functional areas
  • Present, develop and maintain presentations used for Program Reviews and contract proposals
  • Creating and briefing presentations, reports, metrics to customers and Program leadership.
  • Exercising flexible thinking and creative and ideation to advance technical innovation and business performance.
  • Creating and maintaining a master schedule; performing schedule analysis, monitoring project progress against cost and schedule and resolving variances, validating completion of scheduled project activities and milestones, providing weekly updates to customers and Program management.
  • Collaborating with technical leads and teams team members to ensure successful delivery of all projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A United States citizen with an active secret clearance is required
  • United States Navy experience (preferable STO)
  • Possess knowledge of the Navy’s AEGIS combat/weapons systems
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher and 10+ years of recent technical Navy management related experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of Test and Evaluation processes, Console support, scheduling, and baseline nomenclature.
  • Must be a self-starter and work with a clear and defined mission.
  • Must demonstrate ability to thrive and succeed in a challenging environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.
  • Experience in managing personnel and multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions and work with customer in providing resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Navy experience
  • Technical Management experience that includes balancing of risk, cost, and schedule.
  • Understanding of Software Test and Evaluation, V&V, Software Test Program Management
  • Understanding NSWCDD Dahlgren Software processes: IPT organizations, Mission Threads, TOR, CPCR, PR, SWCR management, test and analysis documentation to include test procedures and integrated analysis documents.
