Job Summary

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with experience in designing both steel and concrete structures. You'll be joining our growing team in one of our offices, working on challenging projects across the U.S. We need someone who can work independently, take the lead on projects, and interact with clients.

Locations

The ideal candidate would be able to be in-person 3 days a week (2 days from home): St. Louis, MO, Birmingham, AL, or Tampa, FL.

For a highly experienced candidate, we are considering starting an office in Bethlehem, PA, and would be interested in a Structural Engineer for that location.

We will only consider a P.E. licensed engineer with 8+ years of experience in heavy industrial engineering for a remote location possibility. Remote will not be offered for candidates with less experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural engineering design work for heavy industrial projects

  • Take the lead role on projects from concept through to construction

  • Interact with clients and occasionally travel to job sites to take field measurements

  • Produce engineering design drawings

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills

  • Structural analysis and design

  • Ability and/or willingness to produce structural design

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willing to access elevated platforms with fall protection equipment

Requirements
  • Structural Engineering Design•4+ years
  • Experience with steel and concrete
  • Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Autocad
  • PE License or can get one within a year
  • Structural analysis/design software experience
Nice to Have
  • Senior level structural engineering experience 7+ years•Strong - Strong
  • SE License
  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Staad software experience
  • Autocad Software experience
  • Revit and Tekla software experience
  • Heavy industrial experience
