Primary Responsibilities
Fielding Coordinator position in an Army project office.
Ensures that the Logistics' Directorate's key fielding issues related to assigned weapon system are worked, and technically sound responses are submitted in a timely manner.
The Fielding Coordinator will develop all fielding documentation, to include Memorandum of Notification, Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP) and Materiel Fielding Agreement (MFA).
In collaboration with PM constituents, DA G8, gaining command and supporting command, will ensure that all skilled personnel, facilities, equipment and materiel required in support of scheduled fielding are processed and delivered to fielding locations.
Responsible for planning and coordinating on-site inventory, new equipment training (NET), and equipment hand-off, and ensuring that all activities are executed as planned for in the MFP and MFA.
Completing technical inspection prior to new equipment training and issue of equipment to gaining command.
Completing joint inventory with the gaining units' commander or designed user, and transfer and acceptance of property using an approved Accountable Property System.
Verifying all major Item Unique Item Identifiers to ensure UII is readable.
Preparation and submission of After Action Report.
Basic Qualifications
BA degree and 8-12 years of prior experience or Masters degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree High school diploma/GED plus 19 years’ experience supporting weapons system programs in a logistics capacity.
Three years’ experience fielding weapon system hardware to Army units at CONUS/OCONUS locations.
Experience fielding weapon system hardware to Army units
Knowledge of MFP and MFA
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
Must reside in Huntsville, AL (HSV)
Preferred Qualifications
Seven years’ experience fielding weapon system hardware to Army units at CONUS/OCONUS locations
