Working day to day beside C-Suite Executives for one of the largest employers in the world takes a special kind of HR Business Partner. Being more than just a consultant to your client groups and providing input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans is what sets this HRBP apart from the rest. If this sounds like you, then you might be interested in this role as a Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner. This core HR leadership role is responsible for providing managing and implementing HR activities across the employee life cycle consistently with including Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Compensation Proposals, Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Off-boarding and Labor Relations.
This role will drive efforts to innovative and implement new approaches to improve performance, productivity and culture while continually questioning how and why things are done, drawing conclusions and acting on ways to improve the business & work environment. “Excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and counsel to business leaders throughout all phases of the change management life cycle (i.e. structure changes and DHL cultural changes); influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda to improve service performance
- Act as a consultant to your client groups and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans
- Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to strategic objectives
- Provide valuable input and expertise to your client groups in terms of employment legislation, policies and practice
- Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention activities
- Partner with the business leaders and leverage the COE to proactively identify recruitment needs and workforce planning strategy
- Manage and implement HR activities across the employee life cycle consistently with COE and Shared Services as follows: Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Compensation &Benefits and Salary Proposals, Development, CIS, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Off-boarding and Labor Relations
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related subject area and a minimum of 10 years of increasingly diverse or complex applications in field of expertise or MS/MA and generally at least 8 years of experience in related field
- Professional certification required in some areas
- Demonstrated leadership ability to work in a matrix environment with senior management
- Proven ability to source, assess & hire talent at the executive level
- Proven ability to interpret customer needs as well as negotiation and influence skills
- Leadership skills must include collaboration, innovation and partnership
- Able to cope under pressure with sometimes conflicting priorities
- Experience with US Legislation
- Spanish language a plus
- Demonstrated leadership ability to work in a complex environment, partnering with customers around the country
