Summary
The Electronic Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, modifying, overhauling, and repairing advanced avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) using a variety of test equipment and solutions. The role ensures that all components are restored to serviceable condition in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Apply electronic theory to test, troubleshoot, inspect, modify, overhaul, and repair avionics LRUs down to the circuit board level in a shop environment.

• Work collaboratively within a team to meet quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals.

• Follow established procedures and accurately interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Evaluate electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems.

• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in partnership with cross-functional teams.

• Accurately record all activities using company software systems.

• Utilize the Business Management System (BMS) to follow established company and departmental processes.

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of industry terminology and best practices.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documents.

• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment plus.

• Familiarity with automated test systems and data acquisition tools.

• Understanding of analog and digital circuitry

• Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) preferred.

• Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100, or other regulated quality environments preferred.

• Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station regulations is a plus.

• Experience using ERP systems and strong documentation skills preferred.

• Customer service experience beneficial.

Computer Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude for learning new software tools.

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical requirements, strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to apply basic concepts and applications of arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to think critically to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited information exists.

5:30am-4:00pm (4/10)
