Job Overview

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in modernizing position, navigation and timing systems? You will work with U.S. Air Force personnel to develop test strategies, support document development, evaluate test procedures and execution, and monitor test activities. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

As a test engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the development and evaluation of test plans and procedures of the next generation Global Positioning Services (GPS) receivers. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize GPS. You’ll develop your skills in Integration and Test while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America’s warfighters, our allies, and civil users. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD Test and Evaluation activities, test planning, including development or review of test plans, procedures, and reports, mapping requirements to test plans or automated test scripts, and preparing test readiness reviews and test report data
  • 5+ years of experience in Integration and Test on space systems
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, and Kanban Board
  • Knowledge of military GPS systems and technologies
  • Ability to comprehend GPS receiver?Interface?Control Documents (ICDs) and GPS Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs)
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering, test, and integration activities, and work collaboratively and independently, including demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technology field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
  • Experience working?with a GPS satellite simulator
  • Experience with planning, executing, and reporting on Lead Developmental Test Organization or Operational Test Authority (OTA) Organizations and related activities
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • ITEA Certified Test and Evaluation Professional (CTEP) Certification or other T&E professional certification

The salary range for this role is $175,000-$225,000 annually.
